Chapparal Boats

I have been looking at power boats recently and the Chapparal brand has
caught my eye.  This is not a popular brand here in the Northwest.  I was
wondering if anyone had any input on the boat or experience owning one.
I would appreciate your comments.

Thanks,
Steve

I have a friend here in Georgia that just bought his second Chapparal.
He has had a 17′ with a 90 Merc for the past four years.  It was a fine
boat and he only had one problem of a soft spot in the flooring just a
few months ago.  The factory replaced the entire floor including all
interior carpet under warranty.  No problems at all in getting this
    covered.

He just traded this boat for a 19′ I/O two weeks ago.  His family is
growing and he needed the room and "wanted" more hp.  He is a very
satisfied customer.  I have a 19′ Sea Ray but I won’t hold his
    Chapparal against him.
