You’ve probably read about my battery scam and my printer cartridge
scam. Here’s another couple of good ones.
This scam is called price arbitrage. It works like this. You go to a
retail store like Wal Mart and you buy a nice watch, for example, that
costs a hundred bucks. You go back a day later and buy one that looks
pretty much like the first but only costs fifty bucks. You put the fifty
dollar watch into the 100 dollar watch packaging and receipt and return
it for a full refund in the time allotted. You get 100 dollars back so
you got the 100 dollar watch for only fifty bucks. You can do this with
all sorts of items.
You can do this at the liquor store too. Buy a big bottle of premium
rum. Take it home and empty the premium rum into another container and
then fill the original bottle up with the cheapest rum you can buy. Then
screw the cap back on and return it with the receipt. Tell the clerk
that you’re bringing it back because when you got it home you noticed
the metal seal on the cap had been broken. Tell them you don’t want your
money back, you just would like to exchange it for a sealed bottle for
safety reasons.
You’ll get a free bottle of premium rum or more accurately premium rum
for the price of cheap rum. I’ve been working this scam for years. The
only problem is you can’t keep doing it to the same store. You can get
by with it maybe once or twice a year.

People, day in and day out, are ripped off by retail establishments.
Isn’t it about time for some payback?
Now, I’ve got to give some serious thought to how to scam some free
gasoline. There’s got to be an easy way that’s been overlooked….
Hmmmm.

Corks are for wine. That’s a sissy Frenchie drink, wine. Good, strong,
respectable, manly rum comes in a twist off capped, glass bottle. The
little metal ring insures you it hasn’t been opened and adulterated.

Perhaps, if you are miffed, you might enjoy checking out which Wilbur

I made a start for you. He doesn’t live in Phoenix Az.
Get an address, and you can turn him in on his own confession.

Whats up Brian..You are Da Man. You must hang with the men in Blue
huh?
Things a bit slow in red dirt clod land?
I called the number you provided and it was indeed a Neal Warren, I
was going to jab at him and make fun of the fellow for thinking
Baccardi was a high dollar rum.
He asked me how I got his number and I explaned that Brian Whatcott of
Oklahoma posted it on the internet for all to see and he said you
moved around allot, and that you said he was ripping off Wal-mart and
your local liquor stores.
He called me several choice words I can’t repeat …but man was he
mad as hell. He even said he is going to contact his lawyer Tuesday
morning and sue the F%#* out of you…or something like that.
Sorry I thought you had the right guy….oh well good luck dealing

internet.
Hope you do not lose your job as the wally world greeter over this.

Hey Brian, I hate both thieves and snitches.
You slandered some fellow who has nothing to do with this group by
posting his personal information. Not cool at all.
I think it would be real smart to call the fellow who’s personal
information you posted and say you are sorry for being so ignorant.
You would be well advised to retract your statement about him and tell
him you fell for one of Neals oldest trolls.
BTW who elected you sheriff?

I realize than Jon, however arbitrage is buying something in one marker
and selling it in another for profit, (well, hopefully for profit),
usually refers to currency transactions, but could be commodities.
I believe the word for Cappy’s scheme is "fraud".
